Presidents & Patriots (but not the football team!)

The students were asked to create paperless reports on a Patriot from Revolutionary times.
We brainstormed names and the students chose their Patriots and their team members.
Research was conducted through books and online sites. Students made daily visits to our computer lab to work on their reports. (You can even see a video of them working on our blog and wiki!)
The focus and team work was amazing to watch. They all had different levels of computer skills but we can now say that ALL of our skills have increased. Students who had more knowledge in some areas helped those that needed it.
All students worked on Google Docs and Power Point. Most students have created Power Point presentations. All are presenting their work to the class.
Visit our class blog or wiki to view our reports!

Steeped in History!

We are just brimming over with knowledge on the American Revolution these days! All of the students are currently working on American Patriot reports - on GoogleDocs - and they are all reading books in their Book Clubs that focus on that time period! I picked up even more books today at the library. We will all be experts by the end of this study! Feel free to quiz us! If we don't know, we'll look it up for you!
